Pads, benching, stormwater and ag — water first.
Water always wins — so we route it first. Building pads, benching, cut-and-fill balancing and the stormwater that keeps all of it dry: fall-tested before anything gets buried, documented before we leave.
For builders, this is the package that keeps the slab dry and the council happy: pad certification, compaction in lifts, and drainage that matches the stormwater plan rather than approximating it.
Compaction is the product
A pad is only as good as its lifts. Fill goes in at controlled depths, compacted and tested layer by layer — because a pad that settles after handover is a cracked slab with your name on it. Test results travel with the invoice.
On sloped sites the cut-fill balance decides the budget: cart-off you did not need, or fill you did not have. We model the balance before the first bucket so the earthworks bill is a plan, not a surprise.
Fall-tested before burial
Every drainage run is checked for fall before backfill. It is the cheapest moment to fix a mistake that becomes the most expensive one after the paving is down. Adelaide's winter clays and summer bake punish flat runs — we do not leave them behind.
Straight answers
Do you provide compaction testing?
Yes — pads are compacted in lifts with testing arranged to the level your engineer specifies, and results are supplied with the completion documentation.
Can you handle detention requirements?
Yes — detention and dispersion systems are built to the approved stormwater plan, including tanks, basins and soakage where mains connection isn't available.
Do you work with our engineer?
Preferably. Send the civil drawings with your pricing request and the scope comes back priced against them line by line.
