Earthworks in Aldinga & Sellicks Beach.

The far south is opening up. Main South Road is now duplicated through to Aldinga, Renewal SA and Villawood are starting civil construction on an 800-home Aldinga project in late 2026, and Sellicks Beach has been rezoned as a growth area, though building there waits on infrastructure.

The ground and the work in Aldinga & Sellicks Beach

Ground varies across the Willunga Basin, from coastal sand and calcrete near the beach to heavier clays inland. We work to each lot's geotechnical report rather than assuming one condition for the area.

Dust and stormwater are the issues the council has raised for Sellicks Beach, and both apply to any site works on open coastal ground: water carts, staged stripping and stormwater kept to the approved discharge point.

Growth front — Civil construction starting late 2026; Sellicks Beach rezoned (deferred)
