Areas — Two Wells & Lewiston 5501 · Adelaide Plains Council · about 38 km from the CBD
Earthworks in Two Wells & Lewiston.
Two Wells has become one of the busiest growth towns north of Adelaide, with large new estates such as Liberty and Eden, smaller estates around the township, and Lewiston's rural-residential blocks to the east. Adelaide Plains Council describes itself as South Australia's fastest-growing council.
The ground and the work in Two Wells & Lewiston
This is flat former horticultural land with reactive clays and the Gawler River floodplain to the south, and the council flags stormwater as a key issue. With little natural fall, every pad, driveway and yard needs its levels set deliberately so water reaches the pit or swale.
Lewiston and Mallala blocks are bigger, so scopes often include longer driveways, shed pads and boundary fencing as well as the house site. Travel from the city is part of the job and is priced upfront.
